The easiest way to tailview Coldfusion logs on a Mac (without ColdFusion Builder)

For some weird reason I prefer Sublime Text to ColdFusion Builder. Unfortunately that means that I miss a wonderful Builder Tailview window that displays live all log updates. It is extremely convenient when debugging.

Can you get the same data without a Builder on a Mac? It is actually easier than you think. Just double click a logfile you want to tail and it will be opened in the system Console application (all “.log” files are per default associated with Console). Click another one. That’s it. Congratulations You are tailing your Coldfusion logs.

Have fun!
